What a fun last week of summer vacation we had! Daddy worked 2nd shift so he got to stay home with us in the mornings! On Friday, Daddy had the day off so we decided to load up and spend our last day of summer track out at Atlantic Beach! We left bright and early Friday morning so we were at the beach by 10:00! The weather was perfect! When we first got to the beach the kids were so excited to get out to the water! Tucker has never been to the beach before and when we put his little bare feet in the sand he wasn't so sure that he loved it! Wink! It didn't take him long to warm up though! Of course, Dylan, our little fish, couldn't wait to get in the water! We had to keep reminding him that while the ocean is tons of fun it can also be very dangerous....he couldn't figure out why every time he checked to make sure we were still watching him he had drifted quite a ways away from us! He kept asking us why we were moving over! Madi and Dustin were a little unsure at first. Daddy saved the day by offering to hold them in the water and then we couldn't get them out! Madi made a new friend named, Lauren. She was five, too and Madi thought she was "so cool" because she had four brothers!!!

| Tucker thought it was fun to use his bucket as a hat! |
 |
| Dylan thought it was super fun trying to "hold his balance" after the waves crashed on the shore! |

| He means serious business about something! |

After we were all worn out from playing in the sand and water we decided to go to the Pine Knoll Shore's Aquarium! The kids had a blast! We got to watch the aquarium workers feed the fish and the sharks, we watched the otters swim gracefully and we got to touch the sting rays! We saw frogs, snakes, an octopus, jelly fish, alligators and so much more!

| So hard to get a good picture of all four of them! |
 |
| This was a sand castle that Dylan thought was really neat! |

By the time we got home the kids were exhausted!! It was such a fun trip and we made so many very sweet memories!
Dylan and Madi started school this week, too! Dylan is in second grade and Madi is in first. Doesn't hardly seem possible! They both seem very excited to be back at school and had a great first day! There are lots of new rules and responsibilities that come with being in first and second grade that will take some getting used to - but, we'll get there!
